Violet Beauregarde’s Blueberry Smoothie

This smoothie is one of our breakfast standards. You’re guaranteeing yourself a super energy boost for hours and hours. You can skip the coffee. Seriously.

Violet Beauregarde's Blueberry Smoothie

A delicious treat that’s high in anti-oxidants, protein, and energy!


  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup frozen blueberries
  • 4 dates, pitted
  • 1 kale leaf, stemmed
  • 2 tablespoons almond butter
  • 1 tablespoon cacao powder
  • 1 teaspoon maca powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon almond extract
  • dash of spirulina powder
  • dash of cinnamon
  • dash of sea salt
  • 1 cup water
  • ½ cup ice


  1. Add all ingredients in a high-speed blender, saving the water, then ice, for last.
  2. Blend until creamy and smooth.
  3. Adjust water, salt, dates, and optional stevia according to your desired thickness and taste. Enjoy!
